Past Activities

  • Provided in-service teacher training for over 450 Karen teachers
  • Facilitated Multi-step Training of Trainer programs
  • Designed, developed and produced Teacher Trainer Manual and Teacher Trainee Guide in both Karen and English languages
  • Perform ongoing educational needs assessments in the Karen State, Burma

KTWG has 18 full time staff travelling throughout Karen State who are responsibile for teacher training and surveying schools. Using the most up to date information form Karen State, KTWG regularily publishes reports of Karen State education . Through ongoing dialogue with local teachers and communities, we have developed (or are developing) the following activities:
