Office Running Costs
The
majority of KTWG's membership and activities are based in refugee camps
or in Karen State. As such, we have low administrative costs. We are usually
able to access small project funding which adequately supports our activities.
However, funding agencies who provide small, short term funding are often
uable to cover administration costs. To date, KTWG members have had to
volunteer their time in the office and provide their own money to support
office running costs.
While the core focus of our organization is in camps and villages, we require an urban office to facilitate communication with other individuals and organizations. The office is a crucial component in our ability to coordinate our activities.
